What is Woodburning
Woodburning, also know as pokerwork or pyrography is an ancient technique used to apply designs to wooden objects. A woodburnt design can be added to almost any wooden item. Woodburning leaves a darkened engraved surface.
Woodburning at The Keg Factory
Our woodburning collegue is Barossa Valley artist Joy Day. Joy has been woodburning since 1973, with over 30 years experience as both a woodburning and painting artist. Joy is known world wide for her beautifully coloured and often realistic designs.
